Streets of Willow - Willow Springs International Race Way (Drift Association Time Attack) - Nov. 29 2009

The event consisted of 3 classes. First were the Corolla guys, then the 240sx or any s-chassis N/A and turbo mixed group. Then there was an open class which consisted of mostly Lotus cars, but there were also some EVOs, STI, etc. The class I was involved in was the N/A KA24DE class. Here's the results on that class:

1st place. Matt Johnson. 1:30.17
2nd place. John Hartendorp. 1:32.20
3rd place. Tom Flowers. 1:32.81
4th place Vanessa Lam. 1:34.12
5th place. Ray Diaz. 1:34.43

I did 1:34.43 seconds this time around which is pretty much a whole 2 seconds faster than last time which was 1:36.50. I may not have won the competition, but I did get to do what I was aiming to do all day that day which was to beat my old time. Maybe next time I'll prep my car more and turn it more into a track car than a daily commuter and see if I can break 1:30 minutes just like the person who got first place.
